SUGI acupressure is known for treating challenging chronic conditions that elude effective cure from a western allopathic approach. In 1960's world renowned oriental medicine healer, Do Hyun Choe, founded the system of SUGI acupressure where universal life force energy flows through the hands to activate healing on intentional meridian points throughout the body.
Today, Dr. Injae Choe continues and expands on his father's effective treatment modality. This versatile style of treatment ranges from resembling sports medicine to providing care for the critically ill. Holder also of a Ph.D. in psychology, Injae tackles the root causes of various psychosomatic ailments, such as back pains associated with depression and anxiety-triggered sleep disturbances. His clients are people of both genders and of all ages who come for either specific one-time fixes or regular maintenance; among them are professionals from different fields, celebrities, referrals from MDs, or friends and family members of existing clients.
Each SUGI therapeutic session lasts 40 minutes (longer sessions also available) with the client lying on a floor futon and wearing light clothing. It is generally a full-body treatment from head to toe and covers both the front and back of the body, consistent with SUGI's holistic approach to helping you attain an overall sense of balance and well-being.
